Kreuz Bern Modern City Hotel

The room was cozy, but my suitcase barely fit!

Location - central in Bern and near railway station. Asked for quiet room and was given one. Rooftop terrace providing view of city rooftops and view of mountains. Gym. Free tea and coffee making facilities in a communal area. Free internet in another communal area. Everything I was looking for and more.

Limited TV channels, lacking English options. The bathroom soap quality was below average, mainly suitable for handwashing rather than showering. Breakfast options ran low late in the morning, so arrive earlier for a better selection. Room lighting was insufficient, with no ceiling lights, leaving the desk lamp as the main source in winter, which isn't ideal.

The large locker facility for luggage was super handy, and I loved the fun vibe in the game room. The fitness area is great, and I appreciated the cozy common spaces perfect for chilling out after a day of exploring.

Well presented and relaxing hotel, the idea of having a double room was great. I booked a room with a comfortable bed, central heating, an individual safe and a flat-screen TV. Location: the property was close enough to train station, shopping, restaurants, clock and cathedral. There was an attached restaurant nearby.

Priced competitively in the expensive Swiss capital, rooms very clean and well appointed, good facilities including activities, gym and rooftop deck. Staff were very helpful and happily changed us to a larger family room after accidentally giving us a double initially.

It was a bit noisy on the weekend at night time...nightclub noise 3am...rooms could do with a fridge and wi fi wasn't free as it is in most other hotels

Room sizes felt cramped, which wasn't ideal for the rate charged!!! Noise levels from street activities were quite disruptive !!! The bathroom lacked adequate toiletries, feel a bit minimalist.

Nice location. Free internet in the hallway, but only 3 plugs available and thus often very busy.

The bathroom could use some more light. Free (or cheaper) internet in the room would be appreciated. There is some parking space in front of the hotel for unloading, but this was mostly occupied by parked cars. Some discount for the parking garages in the centre would be appreciated as well.

Varied and satisfactory breakfast with hot eggs available for the start of the day. The rooms good-sized, stylish with view of an alley, TV, fans.

The hotel is in the old town and super close to the train station. The gym facilities were really good, and the rooftop terrace offered beautiful views at sunset. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options, including a vegan section.

Conveniently located, within walking distance to most of the tourist attractions. Meticulously clean.

Noisy neighborhood (some “mad Max” youngsters celebrated midweek "who knows what" till 4:00 AM). Our attic room was small with no real windows and view to the street.
